A little bit about me . . .
I guess you could say this website was started in 1957 when a 10-year-old girl cut a poem out of "Capper's Weekly" and put it in a shoe box that had formerly held a paper doll collection. From that time on I was an avid collector of poems and quotes. When I got my first computer in 1991 I started typing them into files.
Little did I know how much I would use them a few years later when I became a Creative Memories scrapbook consultant. First I used the files as a resource for my customers and myself. Then I started sharing them with other consultants and customers in a variety of forums online. Once I stopped being a CMC I put them on this web site so they will be more readily accessible to others.
Even though I am no longer a scrapbook consultant I still enjoy scrapbooking and use mostly Creative Memories products. Another of my hobbies is creating websites. My personal website has information about my family, friends, interests and current activities. I also made a website for my high school graduating class.
In January, 2001 I started back to school after 35 years. In January 2003 I received an associates degree in Computer Information Systems. Unfortunately the economy took a turn for the worse during the two years I was in school and I didn't have a job waiting like I had planned. But since I like almost every subject I studied I am sure that I will find something I enjoy doing before too long. Then I will move to an apartment in Wichita, file for divorce and get on with my life - something I am very much looking forward to.
