55-Year Reunion (+2)

Our 55-year reunion was supposed to be in 2020 but, like many other things, it got delayed by COVID. We had mini-reunions in 2020 and 2021 but not a full-scale reunion until 2022. The 55-year reunion (+2) was held at the Kirk House on May 28, 2022 and was planned and hosted by Jan Lyson, Martha Miller, Terry Cain, Linda Holmes Macklin and Linda Lickteig. It was a busy day filled with lots of activities, good food, and great friends.
Those attending were: Roger Adams, Don Anderson, Gene Bowen, Jan (Brecheisen) Lyson, Terry Cain, Larry Caldwell, Fran (Craig) Sandwith (and Vickie), Denny Davis, Leonard Davison, Dan Fraker, Linda (Holmes) Macklin, Jerry Katzer, Martha (Hughes) Miller, Linda (Lickteig) Teichgraeber, Janis (Main) Hightower, Tarry Miller, Judy (Osborne) Worrell, David and Carol Rodgers, Sue (Singer) Ward, Steve Stevens, John and Paula Walter, Herb and Kathy Waring, Charley and Lourdes Vosseller, and Ron Wolken. During lunch a member of the Anderson County Historical Society gave an interesting talk. After lunch we walked down the street to the historical Harris House. Dr. C.B. Harris, Sr. purchased the house in 1920. After that there were a variety of games and more food and conversation
The next morning we had breakfast at a grocery store in Mildred, KS that caters meals in their backroom for groups. Many family members joined us for that, as well as Joe and Betty Lytle, and Jeanne Wolken who were unable to attend the reunion on the 28th.
