Connie (Burns) Demoret

Info as of 2015 Connie and her husband, Leon, live in Kansas City, KS. They have two sons. Richard, who lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, is married with two sons, Aaron and Jacob. Scott lives in Kansas City, Kansas.
The grandsons bring much joy into their lives. In 2013 Leon, Connie, their sons, daughter-in-law and grandsons when on their first cruise to the Grand Bahamas. Grandson Aaron was married in 2015.
Connie retired in 2010 after being a cafeteria manager for USD 500 for many years. She now works from January to June each year with Kansas DCF in the LIEAP program. Leon retired from KDOT in 1996 and volunteers at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. They both love to travel and are very involved with the Legacy Christian Church in Overland Park.
Connie likes to read, do needlepoint and spend time with her grandsons. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 but fortunately has been cancer free for the past six years.

Connie was born May 28, 1947. She attended GHS for her freshman and senior years and went to school in Conway, Arkansas her sophomore and junior years. Below is her senior picture.
