2022 update David is spending his time camping, restoring old cards, reading, house and yard work.

Info as of 2015 David graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Architecture in 1971. He worked in Pittsburg, KS as an architectural draftsman for a year and then in Denver, CO as a an architectural intern for three years. He passed his architectural exam in 1974 on the first try and started his own architectural firm in 1976 in Denver. The bad economy ended that in 1987 and he and his family moved to Boston. He was a Senior Architectural Specifier in a large firm there for five years. When his older brother Neil and his dad died back in Kansas he and his family decided they wanted to be closer to family in Kansas so he took a position as a Senior Specifier with a large architectural firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After working there for ten years the firm owner decided to start a design/build firm where David was a Senior Architect for four years. Next he moved to a different architectural firm in Tulsa where he have been for the last seven years working as a Senior Architect.
David is still working full time because he enjoys the work. His wife, Carol, is also working full time. They are discussing retirement but will continue to work for a couple more years.
David and Carol have three children - Jill, Dylan and Luke - and four grandchildren. One son and his wife live in Broken Arrow and they have three daughters. Another son and his wife live in the Washington, DC area and they have one son. Their daughter and her husband lives in Austin, Texas and have a dog named Boston.
David had double bypass surgery 3 years ago. Fortunately, there was no heart attack or stroke prior to the surgery as the blockage was caught by his symptoms. He now works out five days a week and is in good health. Carol had both knees replaced two years ago.
David enjoys working on cars, camping, yard work and spending time with grandchildren.
