2022 update Charles is semi-retired with only a small construction company in Texas remaining which installs pipelines, compressor stations and other midstream components.
He is spending time with his wife, Sharon, and their family. Daughter, Meghan and her family, including four daughters, lives in California. Daughter Patricia and her family, including four sons, lives in Washington.
Charles was playing basketball several times a week at a local gym but that was interrupted by a torn hamstring and then COVID.

Info as of 2015 Charles is an engineer with BS and MS degrees. He and his wife, Sharon, lived on a farm west of Welda when they were first married more than forty years ago. They raised cattle and had a farm equipment dealership. The high interest rates and drought in the early 80's made those businesses risky. Thanks to Joe Lytle they got an offer to work for the nuclear industry. They still farm a little but mainly work for themselves as engineers and project managers in the power industry. They are happy that one of their daughters and one of their son-in-laws work with them.
Charles and Sharon have two daughters, Tricia and Meghan, and six grandchildren. They live in Longview, WA.
