Info as of 2015 After graduation Jerry enlisted in the Air Force where he served from 1965 to 1969, with a tour in Vietnam. He worked for Southwestern Bell (now AT&T) for 41 years. He started out as an installer in Ottawa. In 1970 he was transferred to Topeka where he worked as an inside communications technician. He retired in 2011.
Jerry has two sons from his first marriage, Brian and Brent. He has three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Jerry married Betsy in 2004. She has two children, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Jerry and Betsy live in Lawrence, KS. They have two puggle (pug and beagle cross) dogs, Libby and Mocha, which he walks every day. Jerry enjoys cooking, dancing, ham radio and a nice glass of wine.
