Kenny in 1962
Terry Cain talked to Kenny's wife, Niela after Kenny passed. She said he beat cancer once in 2009 and thought he would do so again but that didn't happen. She said that Kenny very much appreciated the phone calls he received from former GHS friends. There will be a private memorial service at a later date and he will be buried at Fort Scott National Cemetery. Besides his wife, Kenny is survived by a son, Yancy, from a previous marriage.
Kenny was with our class in Junior High and moved during our sophomore year. He was an electronic technician and lives in Joplin, MO. He attended one reunion - I think the 25th.
Kenny's mother (Mrs. Margaret Davis) was our math teacher in Junior High. I really like her. His 19-year old brother, Caldwell Davis III, died in an auto accident July 2, 1961 while driving around the North Lake. Kenny also had a brother named Marty McKnight.
