2022 update from Linda "Jay and I go camping in our RV in the summer and sometimes take bus trips in the winter. I enjoy reading and socializing with friends and family. Retirement is liberating."

Info as of 2015 Linda and Jay were married three months after she graduated and will soon celebrate their fiftieth anniversary. They have two children, Brent and Lynetta, and four grandchildren. Brent married Becky and they have two boys - Logan (20) and Evan (17). Brent is a fireman and EMT for the city of Ottawa and also sells liquid fertilizers. Logan is in welding school and Evan is a junior at Pomona High School.
Lynetta is married to Scott and they have two children - Lane (19 and Abby (7). Lane is a junior at ACJSH and Abby is in first grade.
While her children were growing up, Linda was very active in their school's organizations and both children's scouts and sports activities.
Linda and Jay lived in Pleasanton for a 44 years. Jay taught high school and then was self-employed. Linda sold Avon for 31 years, most of the time she was in the top three in sales in her district. At the same time she worked as a secretary for two lake developments for 16 years. She then worked full time for the city of Pleasanton until she retired in 2012. Jay and Linda now live a few miles south of Garnett and she works part time at a bank.
In the early years, Jay and Linda enjoyed camping and boating. Later they participated in a motorcycle group. Linda likes to read and spend time with grandchildren.
