Info as of 2015 Ron married Roberta Hill in 1966. She is also in the GHS class of '65. They moved to Kansas City in 1967 where Ron worked at Finkenmyers Bakery and then at Pooches Cafeteria and Bakery. Later he worked for Western Electric Bakery Department in Lees Summit, MO. While there he was promoted to cafeteria manager for GMAC Leads in Kansas City, MO.
In 1974 Ron and his family moved back to Garnett. He and Roberta owned and ran the Garnett Bakery and Catering Service for ten years. After that Ron opened R&R Lawnmower in Garnett where he continues to work.
In earlier years Ron enjoyed go-cart racing which worked into his repair business. He still enjoys working on small engines and building things. But what he enjoys most is spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Ron and Robert have two children, Richard born in 1967 and Regina born in 1969, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one step grandchild, and four step great-grandchildren.
