Sue (Singer) Ward

2025 update Sadly, Sue's husband, Bill passed away. This is from his obituary:
Billy Ray Ward, age 90 of Warsaw, Missouri died Saturday, May 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born October 9, 1934 to Virgil Victor and Cleda Thornbrugh Ward in Amsterdam, Missouri.
Billy is survived by his wife, Sue Ward of Warsaw, Missouri; three sons, Gregory Ward and wife Tara of Butler, Missouri, Jeffery Ward and wife Robin of Amoret, Missouri and Michael Ward and fiancé Tammy Hendren of Nevada, Missouri; one daughter, Stephanie Teagarden and husband Matt of Topeka, Kansas; three sisters, Barbara Ward, Karen Brown and Sandy Curnette; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David Ward.

Info as of 2015 Sue and her husband, Bill, live in Warsaw, Missouri. Sue has one daughter, Stephanie, and one granddaughter, Alexandria. Bill has three sons and eleven grandchildren.
Sue worked for twenty years as the office accountant for the Johnson Fishing Company. She retired in 1996 when Bill retired and they moved to Truman Lake in Warsaw.
Sue was the treasurer of her church from 1997 to 2010 and is now the offering coordinator.
Sue enjoys getting together with family and friends, traveling, flower gardening, reading, riding a bicycle, swimming, and serving her church and community.
Her future dream would be to continue to live a healthy and long life enjoying family and friends, do some traveling, and to continue to serve her church and community.

High School Memories
(written in 2015) "The most memorable moments at GHS were probably the fun at the basketball and football games, school dances and senior prom. Also parties with friends and slumber parties. I was in journalism class and really enjoyed working on the school paper and the "1965" yearbook. We had a lot of fun in that class.
